Srinagar: The formal announcement regarding the commencement of the holy month Ramadan would be made within half an hour as the moon has been sighted in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam said that the confirmation about the Ramadan moon has been received from the Jammu areas this evening and the formal announcement will be made within half an hour in this regard. (KNO)
