Srinagar: Apni Party Provincial President Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, on Tuesday termed the massive fire incident in Tarbal-Nawa Kadal as shocking and extremely unfortunate wherein around five persons received serious burn injuries.
In a statement issued here, Mohammad Ashraf Mir said that the victim families of this ominous fire incident have reached from riches to rags and the district administration should leave no stone unturned in rehabilitating them with dignity.
“The incident is extremely gloomy that has incurred heavy losses to the property along with injuries to many persons. The administration is incumbent in rehabilitating the suffering families of this heart-wrenching incident,” he remarked.
Furthermore, he said that temporary accommodation must be provided to these families by the government until their houses get reconstructed.
“I urge the government to dispatch relief teams on  ground zero which will make
assessment of the losses borne by these families in this incident, so that the ex-gratia shall be delivered to them at an earliest,” Mir urged.
Besides Mir, Party’s district President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Senior Party leader Irfan Matoo expressed solidarity with the fire victims and also demanded a probe over the rising cases of fire incidents in the valley.
