NC, JKPCC, BJP condemn killing of policeman

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Thursday condemned the killing of a policeman Ramez Ahmed in an attack on BJP leader’s house in the outskirts of Srinagar and expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.

Party Vice President Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the soul of the deceased and expressed unison with the bereaved family on their irreparable loss.  He also prayed for the fast recuperation of the injured.

Meanwhile, party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also condemned the incident and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) strongly condemned the killing of a security guard of a BJP leader in a militant attack in Srinagar and expressed serious concern over the deteriorating situation in the valley.

In a statement issued here, JKPCC strongly condemned the attack on BJP Leader in which his PSO Ramiz Raja was killed and described the incident as cowardice and shameful act.

The party also expressed serious concern over the frequent militant attacks in Kashmir and emphasized the Govt to take more effective measures to contain such mindless attacks to ensure that there is no further loss of life.

The Party feels highly concerned about the loss of lives, JKPCC added and conveyed deepest condolences to family of slain Ramiz Raja.

JKPCC shares the grief, prays for eternal peace to departed soul and courage to bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leader and chief spokesperson for the party’s Minority Morcha, Hilal Jan condemned the gruesome attack on the senior BJP leader’s security guard on Thursday at his Srinagar residence.

Jan appealed to the Lt governor, Manoj Sinha, and DGP to enhance the security cover of BJP leaders in Kashmir.
