J&K Students Association delegation calls on DGP Uttarakhand
Calls for frequent exchange programs to dispel negative portrayal of Kashmir by media
Uttarakhand: A delegation of J&K Students Association (JKSA) on Monday held a meeting with the Director General of Police (DGP) Uttrakhand, Ashok Kumar, in Dehradun and apprised him about various being faced by the Kashmiri Students.
The JKSA delegation was led by the National Spokesperson of JKSA, Nasir Khuehami.
Khuehami appealed to Kumar to stay in touch with both Kashmiri students and the heads of the institutions where they are studying. He requested him to hold regular interaction programs with Students of J&K to create a sense of security among them.
Khuehami also informed the DGP about the impact of the negative portrayal of J&K UT by a section of media.
Responding to the requests of Khuehami, Kumar assured that all possible steps are being taken to ensure the safety and security of Kashmiri students in Uttarakhand.
