Srinagar: Wildlife sleuths caught a leopard from Tangnar Hayatpora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district during the preceding night.
The leopard, which was perched atop a poplar tree some 150 metres tall, was caught by a rescue team of around a dozen officials at around 2:30 am last night, officials said.
They said it was the eighth leopard to be rescued in the past four months in the central Kashmir district.
