Farooq Khan inspects Tribal Research Institute at Khimber Harwan

SRINAGAR: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan, today visited Tribal Research Institute at Khimber Harwan Srinagar to inspect the construction and other works which are under progress there.

Secretary Tribal Affairs Rehana Batool and other officers from Revenue, R&B and Tribal Affairs Department were also present on the occasion.

The concerned officer apprised the Advisor that the construction of Tribal Research Institute is being carried out at an estimated cost of 794 lakhs.

Advisor stressed upon the executing agency to gear up their men and machinery so that the project could be completed within the stipulated time frame.

Advisor issued on-the-spot instructions to officers of concerned departments to strictly adhere to quality specifications and ensure quality of works.
