Rajouri: A minor girl was killed while eight of her family members were injured in a road accident in Alal area of Thanamandi in Rajouri district while two bikers were also injured in a separate accident in Manjakote on Friday.
An official told the news agency (KNO) that a car skidded off the road at Alal in Thanamandi and fell into road gorge, resulting in injuries to 9 persons travelling in the car.
He said that the injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment, where minor girl identified as Shaheeda (12) succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, in a separate accident two bikers were critically injured in a road mishap that took place near Yadhunath bridge in Manjakote tehsil of Rajouri.
The official said that two persons riding the motorcycle received injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
