KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din has asked all Executive Engineers and Tehsildars of Kupwara district to submit damage reports of infrastructure and residential houses due to ongoing rains and flash floods in the district immediately for onward submission to the higher authorities.

Meanwhile, the DC has issued an advisory, advising the people of Kupwara district living near Nallahs, not to venture out as all Nallahs are overflowing in the district and all the residents are advised to take precautionary measures.

The DC also directed all the Magistrates to take immediate measures to shift all those inhabitants of concerned habitations which are affected or likely to be affected to safer places.
