JAMMU: Commissioner Secretary Labour & Employment, Sarita Chauhan, today reviewed the functioning of the department while holding an introductory meeting of officers here.
The meeting was attended by Labour Commissioner, CEO/Secretary Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Deputy Labour Commissioner, Jammu, Deputy Labour Commissioner, Central, Deputy Secretary Labour and Employment, Deputy Director ESIC, Deputy Provident Fund Commissioner Central and other concerned officers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner Secretary impressed upon the concerned to work with dedication so as to ensure that all benefits are extended in simplest and fastest mode to all eligible workmen in order to make the desired welfare impact on their lives.
Regarding different issues raised by the officers, Commissioner Secretary assured them that all the issues will be taken and resolved on priority.
At the onset of the meeting, Labour Commissioner gave a power point presentation during which he presented an overview of the Department.
