Pandemic surges: 152 fresh cases reported
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir recorded 152 fresh COVID-19 cases and a death due to the virus in the past 24 hours, taking the overall tally to 128249, officials said on Friday.
Of the fresh cases, which include 50 travelers, 121 were from Kashmir and 31 were from Jammu division, they said.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 69 cases, Baramulla 15, Budgam 15, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 6, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 1, Shopian 4, Jammu 20, Rajouri 4, Doda 2, Kathua 2, and Ramban 3 cases.
They said the death was reported in Jammu district, which took the tool 1979 —732in Jammu and 1247 in Kashmir.
