Shah said that his house was gutted due to the short circuit nine day ago causing damage to the property worth around thirty lakh. He appealed the administration to provide monetary assistance to the affected family so that they could be able to rebuild their house.

“I am retired government employee; it’s very difficult for me to sustain my family as I get a meager pension of few thousands rupees per month. I have daughters so have my two other brothers, ours is a joint family and every single member lost their shelter in devastating fire,” Shah told ‘Kashmir Images’.

The affected family appealed to the administration and general public to help them rebuild their house so that their family does not suffer in cold weather conditions.
