Medal Ceremony of Inter-Zone Sports Meet-2021 held at Gulshan Ground Jammu

Jammu: The Medal Presentation Ceremony of Inter-Zone Sports Meet-2021 for Body-Building (Men), Powerlifting (Men-Women Judo (Men) Athletics, Archery ( Men-Women) Wushu (Men-Women), Taekwondo (Men) was held today at Gulshan Ground Jammu.

A spokesperson of J&K police said: “S. D. Singh, ADGP, Security/Director SKPAU/SSG J&K was the chief guest on the occasion besides, S.S Kotwal-SSP Security Jammu, Mohan Lal–SSP, AD Outdoor SKPAU, Mohd. Aslam Choudhary-SSP, CID Hqrs. J&K and Mohd. Shabir-SSP, SO to Commandant General Home Guard along with other senior officers of J&K Police also attended the Medal Presentation Ceremony.”

“A large gathering witnessed the colorful ceremony which was followed by a cultural programme,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson further said: “The Medal Presentation Ceremony for Shooting (Men/Women), Weightlifting (Men/Women), Pencak Silat (Men/Women), Wrestling (Men/Women) will be held on 15.03.2021 at Gulshan Ground Jammu at 1130 hours and 1430 hours respectively.”

“The Closing Ceremony of Inter-Zone Sports Meet-2021 is scheduled to be held on 16.03.2021 at Gulshan Ground Jammu and Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor J&K UT, will be the Chief Guest,” he said.

In today’s ceremony, a total number of 164 medals were distributed which include 53 gold, 53 Silver and 58 Bronze.
