Tangmarg: Fear gripped a Tangmarg village in district Baramulla as the locals found nearly a dozen dead crows and kites lying in the vicinity. Medical teams rushed to the spot, collected the samples and sanitized the area.
Reports said that in Panditpora village, some six kilometers from Tangmarg, carcasses of nearly a dozen crows and kites were found lying scattered in the vicinity by the villagers.
Given the scare created by presence of Bird Flue in Kashmir, panicked villagers immediately contacted the officials of animal husbandry, reports said.
The animal husbandry team visited the village, collected the carcasses for testing and sanitized the area, said reports.
