The provincial secretaries Showkat Ahmad Mir of Kashmir province and Bashir Ahmad Sheikh of Jammu have been asked to supervise the distribution process in close coordination with the party’s district presidents. Besides, 1 lakh membership coupons have been issued to women’s wing functionaries and workers which will be supervised by Party’s Women Wing President Shameema Firdous, said the spokesman.

Sagar, while allocating the coupons stated that people of Jammu and Kashmir know that it is only the National Conference that offers panacea to the issues and challenges confronting them.

He said the strike rate of the party in the recently concluded DDC poll results attest to the universal acceptance of the party in all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, added the spokesman.

“Showing their political sagacity the people across Jammu and Kashmir have again lent wholehearted support to NC in the DDC polls.  The overwhelming support of people was amply reflected in the strike rate of the party in the both divisions. In the DDC elections people have given a clear cut message to those forces which were contriving to wipe us out. Those forces stand unnerved. The results are also insightful how deeply rooted our party is.  People know that the lab made political parties cannot take on the challenges being thrown at us,” the spokesman quoted him saying.
