Srinagar: On the recommendation of special departmental promotion committee, Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar, has promoted 46 officials to their next ranks
According to the police spokesman, the officials include 11 Head Constables of Executive Police to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors, 26 SgCts to the rank of Head Constables and 09 Constables to the rank of SgCts. “Besides, after completion of all departmental formalities 03 Head Constables, 02 Selection Grade Constables and 12 Constables have been granted In-Situ promotion after completing nine year of service on the same rank.”
“IGP Kashmir has felicitated the promoted officers and their families and has expressed hope that these newly promoted officers will strive to work hard for the interests of general public maintenance of peace and tranquillity in the Union Territory of J&K,” the spokesman said.
