Dr Farooq Abdullah visits bereaved families of late Abdul Rasheed Baba, GM Wangnoo

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of Parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday visited the bereaved family of late Abdul Raheed Baba at Haji Bagh, Soura.

According to the party spokesperson,  Dr Farooq who was accompanied by his family members shared the grief of the family members of Late Baba Sahib and recalled his association with the deceased, who breathed his last some days ago. The Party President also offered Fatiha at the graveyard and prayed for eternal repose to the deceased in the highest stations of Jannat.

“Later, Party President visited the bereaved family members of noted businessman Late GM Wangnoo who also had breathed his last week. Party President consoled the bereaved family in particular the son of deceased Manzoor Ahmed Wangnoo and prayed for peace to the soul of the deceased,” the spokesperson said.

“Meanwhile, party’s senior leader and former finance minister Abdul Rahim Rather and Provincial Secretary Showkat Ahmed Mir visited the bereaved family of noted civil servant late Khazir Muhammad Wani at Baghat,” he said.

“The duo expressed condolences to the kith and kin of late Wani Sahib on their bereavement. The duo recalled the professionalism and pious nature of late Wani Sahib, prayed for peace to his soul and fortitude to the grief stricken family on their inconsolable loss. The Party President also condoled the bereaved family over a telephone call,” he added.
