Srinagar: Two barracks were partially damaged due to fire that broke out at an army camp in Dawar area of Gurez in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Sunday morning.
Quoting officials, news agency KNO reported that the fire broke out from one of the structures of Army’s 40 Artillery camp at Dawar area of Gurez sector, following which fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
He said there was no report of injury or loss of life, however, two barracks were partially damaged as the fire was immediately brought under control.
