JAMMU: Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment (L&E), Saurabh Bhagat chaired a meeting to review the Online Services and State Business Reforms Action Plan 2020-21 of Labour and Employment department here today.
Speaking during the meeting, Saurabh Bhagat directed the concerned officers to take all necessary steps for developing the software so that remaining services of department are also provided through online mode. He further gave directions to bring other services through online mode only.
During the meeting, the Commissioner Secretary was informed that Labour Department, Jammu and Kashmir Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board and Provident Fund Organization are providing 22 public services through online mode and the proposal for providing remaining public services through online mode is in the final stage.
It was also informed in the meeting that Labour Department has taken prompt action in implementing the 51 regulations points of SBRAP-2020-21 and has achieved about 95% of SBRAP points.
