Alok Kumar’s deputation to J&K gets MHA nod

Srinagar: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday gave green signal to deputation of Alok Kumar (IRS) to Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the news agency KNO, Under Secretary to Government of India, Pankaj Awasthi in a letter has stated that the department of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Affairs, MHA has no objection for deputation of Alok Kumar to UT of J&K, on the basis of cadre clearance/no objection issued by the Competent Authority in CBDT, D/O Revenue, Ministry of Finance, vide letter number HRD/CM/152/85/2013-14 dated 16-12-2020.

“The deputation of Shri Alok Kumar, IRS to UT of J&K for a period of 3 years will be governed by terms and conditions issued by DoPT from time to time,” Awasthi said in office communiqué.
