PDP’s DDC member from Kangan resigns from basic membership of party
Ganderbal: District Development Council (DDC) member from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Tasleema Aadil on Tuesday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Tasleema Adil emerged victorious in the recently held maiden DDC polls from Kangan A constituency on PDP’s ticket.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), she sent a letter to PDP’s district president Ganderbal today wherein she announced her resignation from the primary membership of the party.
Notably, Kangan A constituency was reserved seat for woman in which six women candidates had filed nomination papers while Tasleema from PDP bagged 1644 votes and was subsequently declared winner.
The candidates in the fray in the constituency were three independents and one each from BJP, Apni party and PDP—(KNO)
