JAMMU, FEBRUARY 08: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the progress of work on Ring Road project here at a meeting with concerned officers.

The meeting was attended by Project Director NHAI, Ajay Kumar Rajak; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Satish Sharma; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu, Vijay Sharma, besides Sub Divisional Magistrate Jammu South, Marh and other concerned.

The Project Director NHAI gave a detailed account of works executed on different phases of the ring road project. He also apprised the Div Com about works done so far and also discussed future work plans. It was informed that work on all phases is in progress.

The Div Com asked the executing agencies to remove the bottlenecks, if any and expedite the pace of work to meet the set timelines. He also instructed NHAI to further gear up men and machinery to expedite the work for timely completion of the prestigious road project.

Meanwhile, the Div Com also reviewed the land acquisition for the project and was informed that the process for the same is almost complete.
