Budgam: The security forces arrested three persons including a government employee and recovered a rusty pistol from their possession in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said on Monday.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), 53 RR and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir arrested three persons during the intervening night of Feb 07 and 08 at Khansahib Budgam.

An official said that a government employee working in the Education Department identified him as a former militant Bashir Ahmad Shah of Arigam, Khansahab, Faisal Farooq and Inam-ul-Haq—both residents of Chattabal Srinagar.

Official said that on their disclosure, a rusty revolver and an AK-47 magazine were recovered while further investigation has been started.
