BARAMULLA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting of concerned to finalise arrangements to ensure smooth conduct of DDC chairperson and Vice-Chairperson Elections scheduled to be held on February 08.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion on various matters pertaining to the subject was held wherein the DC stressed for working in coordination so that the process is conducted smoothly.
He directed to put in place a viable mechanism for carrying out different steps from nomination to polling and counting and thereafter result declaration.
The DC also issued orders for deployment of Magistrates near the premises of the polling station.
