Srinagar: A day-long awareness program “Global Solidarity, Shared Responsibility on HIV/AIDS” was organized by Al-Habib Foundation in collaboration with J&K AIDS Control Society at Government Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Jawahar Nagar here.
The aim of the programme was to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS & Drug De-addiction. On the occasion, the students were made aware of various medical, psychological, and social aspects of HIV/AIDS and drug abuse.
The programme was attended by Dr. Riyaz Ahmad Daga, trustee Al-Habib Foundation and spokesperson DAK, Clinical Psychologists, Sahaf Qadri and Shaista Shah, Dr Rumaisa of AIDS Control Society of Kashmir, Tasleema Shah, Chairperson and Mohammad Asif, General Secretary of Al-Habib Foundation.
