KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today expressed deep sorrow over the accident that took place at Kralpora tehsil of Kupwara district, resulting in the death of one girl and injuries to four others.
The DC along with concerned officers visited Sub-District Hospital Kupwara and enquired about the health of injured persons, who are undergoing treatment there.
On the occasion, he directed the doctors to provide special healthcare facilities to the injured person so that they can recover speedily.
Meanwhile, the DC announced an immediate relief of Rs 10,000 to the next of kin of the deceased girl, while Rs.5000 to each injured person from the District Red Cross fund.
