Advisor Bhatnagar meets several deputations, individuals

JAMMU: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, today met scores of delegations and individuals at the Civil Secretariat here.

The delegations and individuals apprised the Advisor of their issues and demands and sought an early resolution for the same.

A deputation of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee demanded inclusion of initial five year service in their service records. They also demanded removal of pay anomalies and restoration of old pension scheme.

Another delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association raised the issue of career progression and stagnation with the Advisor. They demanded proper career progression and promotion policy for better future prospects. They also demanded removal of additional qualification bar at AEE and Executive Engineer level as well as filling of all vacant posts of engineers in all wings.

Similarly, a deputation of Polytechnic Employees Association demanded timely placement of eligible employees to higher posts, removal of pay anomalies, updation of recruitment rules as well as enhancement of wages for candidates working on academic arrangement basis.

A delegation of E-Hospital Project Employees demanded early release of their pending wages and continuation of their services in hospitals.

Another public deputation of Gandoh, Doda demanded early completion of works at Sub-District Hospital Gandoh. They also demanded installation of Oxygen plant at the hospital.

Similarly, a delegation from Tapper Waripora Pattan led by DDC member raised several developmental issues pertaining to their area with the Advisor. They demanded upgradation of health dispensary in the area with all modern equipments like X-Ray facilities, oxygen availability and other necessary facilities.

Besides these delegations, several individuals from Jammu,Srinagar, Budgam, Rajouri, Pulwama, Anantnag, Pahalgam, Doda, Kishtwar and other areas raised several issues with the Advisor and sought immediate redressal of the same.

Advisor Bhatnagar listened to each of them patiently and while responding to the issues and concerns of delegations and individuals, assured them that all of their genuine issues and demands will be redressed on priority.
