SRINAGAR: Financial Commissioner to Government, Health & Medical Education Department, Atal Dulloo today (Polio Ravivaar), inaugurated Intensive Pulse polio immunization on National Immunization Day, 2021 at Govt  Hospital  Sarwal, Jammu in presence of Mission Director, NHM, Chaudhary Mohammad Yaseen, Director Health Services, Jammu, Dr. Renu Sharma, Officers & Officials.

Speaking on the occasion, Financial Commissioner H&ME, Atal Dulloo, urged all the officers and officials to continue working hard to eliminate the disease completely.

He said that keeping in view the wild polio cases prevailing in neighbouring countries,  we should mobilize all the resources to keep polio at bay and continue to participate in the pulse polio Immunization Programme so that immunity of our children remains high.

It is pertinent to mention that IPPI programme was held across the J&K to provide polio drops to the children of the age group (0-5) years.
