Advisor Bhatnagar meets several delegations, individuals

JAMMU: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, today met scores of delegations and individuals at civil secretariat here.

The delegations and individuals apprised the Advisor of their issues and demands and sought an early resolution for the same.

A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum demanded creation of posts of masters in upgraded Middle Schools and revision of pay scales as per Union Territory grades. They also demanded up gradation of smart infrastructure in schools for provision of digital classes besides change in nomenclature of class IV employees as office assistants.

Another delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir Saakshar Bharat Mission Employees Forum raised the issue of confirmation of services in the department. They demanded proper roadmap regarding absorption in the department besides other benefits.

Similarly, a deputation of All J&K 10+2 Lecturers Forum demanded regularisation of their services besides other service benefits.

A delegation of All Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association demanded revision and enhancement of daily wages on equal-work equal-pay basis. They also demanded that a roadmap for proper regularisation policy should be made at the earliest.

Similarly, a deputation of All J&K Plus Two PSC Lecturers Association raised the issue of career progression and other service matters with the Advisor. They demanded placement of Lectures to the posts of Senior Lecturers besides fixation of seniority as well as conduction of DPCs on regular basis.

Besides, several individuals from Jammu, Kupwara, Srinagar, Budgam, Rajouri and other areas raised several issues with the Advisor and sought immediate redressal of the same.

Advisor Bhatnagar, while responding to the issues and concerns of delegations and individuals, assured them that all of their genuine issues and demands will be redressed on priority.
