JAMMU: To maintain the high degree of accountability, transparency and discipline in Traffic management system, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural, Jammu, Mohan Lal Kaith, today launched e-challan system in Samba & Kathua districts.
The Challaning officers have already been given training regarding use and configuration of e-challan devices by the IT Section, THQ J&K from time to time.
The aim and objective of launching the e-challan system is to realize the imposed fine on the spot from the violators as per the provisions of new Motor vehicle Act.
