Another delegation of Jammu Kashmir Welfare Federation/Senior Citizens Civil Society led by its President Sampat Prakash met the Advisor and apprised him of several issues with regard to Jammu Kashmir Industries (JKI).

The delegation raised the issue about government’s efforts in the revival of sick units of Jammu Kashmir Industries so that they become viable functional units. They said that infrastructure is already available and government’s helping hand will provide a much-needed impetus in the revival of the sick units. They also demanded release of pay arrears of JKI employees besides other issues.
