Baramulla: People from Khore and other adjacent villages of Pattan area in Baramulla district on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) over unscheduled power cuts.
Witnesses said that people from several villages of Pattan including Khore, Nowlori, Khasipora, Kongamdara, Hagerpora staged a protest against PDD to demand immediate restoration of uninterrupted power supply to their villages.
SDM Pattan Syed Faheem assured that the issue will be resolved soon. He appealed the people to cooperate and make judicious use of electricity.
