ANANTNAG: Responding swiftly to the post snowfall situation, Deputy Commissioner Anantnag K. K. Sidha today visited various areas of the district to examine snow clearance operations and restoration of electricity and availability of stock.
Taking an overview of the ground situation and damages to the power sector, DC visited the PDD workshop at Laizbal Anantnag where damaged transformers are being repaired.
Sidha also visited the receiving stations Hutmurah and Gopalpora and interacted with management staff and field officials to ensure timely availability and restoration of electricity to all the areas of the district.
Later, he visited PHC Mattan to oversee the facilities in place. He also interacted with the patients and obtained feedback about arrangements in hospitals.
