Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed anguish over the hardships confronting people living in south and elsewhere in Kashmir due to fresh snowfall, demanding that the electricity and road clearance especially in Kapran, Desa, Dooru, Veerinag, Duksum, Noorabad, Pahalgam, Bijbehehaa and elsewhere in Kashmir be ensured, on war footing basis.

Mir also urged the Govt to ensure every facility to people living in Karnah, Keran, Gurez and elsewhere in Kashmir, which are disconnected due to the snowfall and their difficult topographies.

“I was appraised by various people about the situation and difficulties confronting them due to fresh snowfall,” Mir said.

He laid emphasizes over ensuring adequate supply of electricity, essentials and road clearance in upper reaches to ensure respite to people from the current bone chilling weather.
