Jammu: Two Army men were killed while another was critically injured after the portion of an Army structure collapsed in an Army camp at Machedi area of Kathua district in Jammu on Friday.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the incident took place on Friday late evening hours, officials said.
Officials said that three Army men were present near the structure which collapsed, adding that two Army men died on the spot while another was critically injured.
“Two of them died on the spot while one is critically injured who was evacuated from the spot and has been taken to Army hospital Pathankot for specialised treatment,” officials said, adding that the area where incident took place falls under the jurisdiction of Billawar Police Station of Kathua district.
