Ice Skating Association of J&K holds annual General Body Meeting

Srinagar: Ice Skating Association of Jammu and Kashmir held its Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday at Hotel Shahan Shah Srinagar.

All the office bearers and executive members of the association were present in the said meeting.

On the occasion, President Ice Skating Association of J&K, Farooq Ahmad Shah, distributed Awards/National and International certificates among the participants.

The meeting reviewed the plans of summer activities, Roller Skating and Roll Ball Championships conducted under the banner of Ice Skating Association of J&K, at Radpora Stadium Srinagar.

The annual winter activity calendar for conducting ice skating camps/Nationals was also discussed, as the said calendar has been already submitted to the secretary J&K Sports Council.

On the occasion, Farooq Ahmad Shah President Ice Skating Association of J&K while distributing the awards and certificates among the athletes congratulated them and assured them that the association will give full support to the genuine players who compete at the national and international level.

He also assured them that he would impress upon the government to build ice skating rinks in all districts across J&K especially in Srinagar district to conduct all ice events.

Among others who were present in the meeting included Hafeeza Hassan,Vice President, Rouf Tramboo Joint Secretary, Avtar Singh Treasurer, Muhammad Yusuf  and others.
