Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Party President Dr Farooq Abdullah has nominated Shafqat Ali Watali as In Charge Langate Assembly constituency with immediate effect.

Watali is a former IPS officer who had joined the party fold on March 2019.  He boasts a noticeable experience in public life and is recognized for his socio-political activism as well, a party spokesman said.
