Dilapidated condition of link road irk villagers in Zalpora Bandipora
Zalpora (Bandipora): The residents of Zalpora village in Bandipora district are facing huge inconvenience due to dilapidated condition of a link road.
According to the locals, the road leading from Government High School Zalpora to Gugloo Mohalla is full of potholes.
They alleged that the R&B authorities unloaded several trolleys of muck on the stretch making it literally impossible for the commuters and pedestrians, especially elders and children to walk on it.
“We appeal to the concerned authorities to look into the matter and take appropriate action in this regard,” they added.
“We would be forced to protest and block Sumbal-Bandipora road if the road is repaired immediately,” the villagers said.
When contacted Assistant Executive Engineer R&B Sumbal said that work on the road is under progress and matter will be taken up with concerned Junior Engineer.
