Srinagar: Former minister and JKAP President Syed Altaf Bukhari on Sunday asked that why leaders of PAGD have stitched their lips over developmental issues? He said the formation has to explain in public what they did in last 70 years for J&K?

Speaking on the sidelines of an election rally in north Kashmir’s Sogam Lalpora area of Kupwara district, Bukhari lashed out on PAGD for their “deep silence’ over developmental issues. “Why Mehbooba Mufti is silent? Why she is getting agitated only when her gates are shut? Are her lips stitched over developmental works?” he asked.

Bukhari said that everything was open for PAGD from last 70 years and they have to answer before people now what they did?

“Time has come for PAGD leaders to answer their wrongdoings in public. They couldn’t find easy escape now and they couldn’t hoodwink people of Jammu and Kashmir further,” Bukhari said.

Former minister Bukhari ridiculed PAGD for duping common masses over Article 370. “I want to clear that be it DDC polls or assembly elections, Article 370 cannot be returned by these institutions. People should be aware from PAGD’s cheat. It is only Supreme Court or Parliament like apex institutions which can return it,” he said.

He said that we are contesting the August 5, 2019 decisions in SC and are hopeful that decisions will be revisited there.
