Man shot at in Pulwama

Pulwama: One person, reportedly a National Conference worker, was shot outside his residence in Wasoora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that NC worker Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, son of Assadullah Dar, was shot at and injured by unknown militants in Wasoora, Pulwama, following which he was hospitalized.

An official at the District Hospital Pulwama said that Dar has received bullet injury in his leg and his condition is stable. He said that he has been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Police said they have registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law. Investigation is in progress and officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of this crime. Area has been cordoned and search in the area is going on, police said.
