Srinagar/Jammu: Government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday accorded its sanction to the appointment of selected candidates from Combined Competitive Exams-2018 to various junior scale posts.

An order in this regard reads that “Pursuant to the selection made on basis of the Combined Competitive Examination-2018 and as recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the candidates against the posts in the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, Police (Gazetted) Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34,800 with grade pay Of Rs.4800 (now revised to Level 8 Rs. 47600-151100) with immediate effect.”

The appointees, as per the order, shall be on probation for a period of two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass the Departmental Examination as prescribed under rules.

“The candidates allotted to Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (G) Service and J&K Accounts (G) Service shall report to the Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPA&RD) for undergoing foundation course as per the Training Policy notified vide Government Order No. 916-GAD of 2019 dated 09.08.2019”, the order reads.

As per the order, off the total 69 sucessful candidates, twenty-seven have been allotted Junior Scale of J&K Administrative Service posts followed in sequence by thirty candidates for J&K Police (Gazetted) Service (Deputy Superintendent of Police) and twelve candidates for J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service (Accounts Officer).
