Panthal: Former MLA and General Secretary JK PCC, Thakur Balan Singh, today emphasisedthat BJP failed to come up to the expectations of the people of the state and address the problems of farmers, youths, employees, casual labourers and traders and  every section of the society is suffering as their grievances are not being addressed. This was stated by him during a rally at Panthal, a press release issued here said.

The press release also said that Singh challenged BJP to explain its power sharing with the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) in Kargil Hill Development Council before raising questions to the congress party which has history of sacrifices for the ‘unity and integrity of the nation’. He said BJP has been exposed for its double standard sharing power with PDP and NC in the Kargil Hill Council contrary to its public posturing against patriotic credentials of two of its alliance partners in the Hill Council with an attempt to exploit the sentiments of the people. He also reminded  the BJP  who shared power with PDP for over three years in Jammu and Kashmir but not fulfilled a single promise made to the people of Jammu.
