Training imparted to polling staff at Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: A training session  for polling  staff deputed for  phase -1 of District Development Council elections was today or  under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Dr. Piyush Singla, here  at Conference Hall DC Office.

As many as 300 polling staff including presiding officers (PO-P1- P2 and P3) were trained by the Master Trainers for smooth conduct of the DDC & Panchayat -By election.

The District level master trainers, Abhinav Gupta, Mohd Latief and Madan Lal gave hands on training to the polling parties about the process of polling and collection of polling materials, handling of ballot boxes, counting of votes and other process to be adopted for the smooth conduct of DDC Election 2020.

On the occasion, Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar who is also nodal officer MCC briefed the polling staff about their role and responsibilities. He asked them to ensure that all instructions are implemented in letter and spirit.
