Congress, NC activists join Apni Party

SRINAGAR: Congress Vice District President Baramulla, National Conference Block President Women Wing Amirakadal, Congress delegate incharge Sopore constituency besides many other prominent political activists from Srinagar, Baramulla and Budgam districts on Wednesday joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk Srinagar.

Those who joined Apni Party included Mohammad Ramzan Ganaie, vice district president Baramulla Congress, Afroza Khan National Conference Block President Women Wing Amirakadal, Parveena Akhter NC Block secretary Amirakadal, Ghulam Ahmad Reshi delegate incharge Congress Sopore constituency, noted political activists from Srinagar Budgam and Sopore Sameer Ahmad Khan, Umar Farooq Hafiz, Nadeem Khan, Elyas Shafi Dar, Mohammad Abdullah Dar and Farooq Ahmad Dar.

The joining of these political workers took place in presence of Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari. Besides Bukhari,  the new entrants were welcomed by Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, State Secretary and district president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din,  district president Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, provincial secretary Abdul Rashid Haroon, Incharge Zadibal Constituency Irfan Naqib, Er. Showkat Gayoor, , Mir Imad Rafi, Jeelani Kumar, Javed Ahmad, Tanveer Fatima, Khalid Rathore and Parvez Ahmad.

On this occasion, the new entrants pledged to work for strengthening of Apni Party in their respective areas and to ensure dissemination of its socio-economic and political agenda among the public.

They said Apni Party leadership has already proven and gained credibility among the public by speaking the truth about the political situation that emerged after August 5, 2019 and keeping with an unwavering stand on its political ideology.

Addressing at the ceremony, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that it is heartening for all the Party members that Apni Party is gaining the ground day by day at a significant pace and the Party will ensure to live up to the peoples’ expectations at all levels.
