CII J&K Delegation calls on Manoj Kumar Dwivedi

Srinagar: Chairman Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) J&K, Farooq Amin, along with other members of the organization met Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Industries, and Commerce, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, at his office on Wednesday.

On the occasion, Farooq Amin highlighted various issues being faced by the Industrial units including the pending payments, change of name of the unit without any cost or levy by the establishment.

Farooq Amin also stressed on the abolishment of negative list with respect to the present and future industrial policy in J&K, Price/Purchase Preference, Budgetary support to industries covered under inverted duty structure, Quick Disposal of Cases filed with MSME Facilitation Council and Budgetary Support Under SRO 431 for the betterment of the Industrial units in J&K.

A detailed discussion was held over the problems currently faced by the Industrial units. Mr. Dwivedi assured the speedy redressal of the issues.

Ravnish Gulati, Vice- Chairman, CII J&K, Sanjay Puri, Past- Chairman, CII J&K, Vicky Mahajan, Past Chairman, CII J&K, and Abhinandan Sachdev, Member CII were also present during the meeting.
