‘AA (Panchayat) exams conclude smoothly across all districts of Kashmir division’

SRINAGAR: The Service Selection Board Examination for recruitment of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) today concluded smoothly across all the districts of Kashmir division.

On the occasion, the respective Deputy Commissioners visited the examination centres set up in their districts to take stock of facilities and arrangements put in place for smooth and transparent conduct of written examinations.

At Anantnag: Under accelerated recruitment drive, SSB Examinations for Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) were conducted smoothly in 54 examination centres today here, for which elaborate arrangements were put in place by the district administration.

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, KK Sidha visited various examination centre including GHSS Mattan, Alsarwat HSS, GDC Women, GDC Boys, Oxford Presentation, GHHS Khannabal and took stock of the arrangements put in place for the smooth and successful conduct of the exams.

The DC enquired from the candidates about the facilities & arrangements made by the District Administration for ensuring smooth & transparent examinations. The candidates showed satisfaction over the arrangements.

All the SOPs with regard to COVID – 19 Pandemic were strictly adhered, besides masks & sanitizers were made available for the candidates in all the centres as a goodwill gesture.

At Budgam: The written examination for Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) by SSRB concluded smoothly at all 35 designated centers across the district.

It was given out that 10393 candidates were scheduled to appear in the exam and barring some absentees all the candidates ensured their appearance well in time at all centers.

The DC hailed the efforts of Nodal officer and all others concerned in ensuring that examinations are conducted successfully across the district.

All the SOPs and other guidelines related to COVID-19 were followed in letter and spirit across all centres.

At Ganderbal: To have firsthand appraisal of the facilities made available for aspirants appearing in Account Assistant (AA) Panchayat exams conducted by the SSB, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today inspected various examination centers setup within the district.

As many as 24 centers were set up within the district for 5000 students who had registered for appearing in the examination.

The DC on the occasion enquired about the facilities made available for the students like seating, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting and inspected the arrangements regarding COVID-19 like availability of hand sanitizers, masks and maintenance of social distance in examination halls.

Meanwhile, Magistrates and videographers were deployed at all the examination centers besides district police had also put in place all necessary security arrangements for smooth conduct of examination.

At Baramulla: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo today inspected various JKSSB examination centres to take stock of various arrangements and ensure implementation of related COVID-19 SOPs and guidelines.

The DC visited exam centres established in Govt Degree College for Boys Baramulla, St Joseph Higher Secondary School and some other centres during which he was informed that about 12106 candidates out of 13856 candidates appeared in 54 examination centres in the district.

On the occasion, DC took the first hand appraisal of various facilities wherein he stressed to ensure that all the students appear in the exams without any inconvenience.

He also directed to follow all the related health advisories especially using face masks and maintaining social distancing for the overall safety of the students.

Moreover, DC emphasized to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of examination so that the merit is prevailed.

At Kupwara: In order to ensure smooth conduct of Service Selection Board Examination for recruitment of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat), the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Anshul Garg today visited various examination centers in the district.

The DC visited Government Degree College Kupwara, Girls Higher Secondary School Salkoot and Higher Secondary School Kupwara to take stock of the proceedings of the examination, besides reviewing arrangements and other facilities provided at these centres.

The DC was informed that 6730 candidates are appearing in the examination for which 34 examination Centers have been established in the district.

At Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Tuesday inspected various examination centres to take stock of the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Accounts Assistant (panchayat) examination in the district.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board had established 17 examination centres in the district and about 4922 candidates appeared in the said examination.

On the occasion, DC took the first hand appraisal of various necessities wherein he stressed to ensure that all the students appear in the exams without any inconvenience.

He also directed to follow all the related health advisories especially using face masks and maintaining social distancing for the overall safety of the students.  Dr Owais emphasized upon all designated officers for discharging their assigned role and duties effectively.

Moreover, DC instructed the concerned to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of examination so that merit prevails. He expressed satisfaction over the smooth conduct of the examinations.

At Kulgam: The written test held for the recruitment of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) by JKSSB concluded today smoothly here at Kulgam.

As many as 8106 candidates appeared in the said exams at 27 centers in the district.

Meanwhile, to ensure smooth conduct of exams and to have first-hand appraisal of the facilities made available for aspirants, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today inspected various examination centers setup in the district.

The DC on the occasion enquired about the facilities made available for the students like seating, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting and inspected the arrangements regarding COVID-19 like availability of hand sanitizers, masks and maintenance of social distance in examination halls.

At Pulwama: As many as 8477 out of 9481 aspirants today appeared in the written examination of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) by JK Service Selection Board across 28 centres set up by UT administration in the district.

On the Occasion, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer inspected various examination centres in the district and took stock of the arrangements and facilities provided to the aspirants.

During his inspection, DC interacted with supervisory staff and aspirants and enquired about arrangements   at various examination centres.

The DC also expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conclusion of exams in the district.

At Shopian: The written examination of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) by SSRB concluded smoothly here today at district Shopian.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin and Additional Deputy Commissioner Sheikh Abdul Aziz visited various examination centers and took stock of the facilities and arrangements put in place by the district administration for ensuring smooth and transparent conduct of examination.

He enquired from the students about the arrangements including seating, water, lighting besides adherence to Covid-19 related SOPs and guidelines to which students expressed great satisfaction.

Meanwhile, 2300 students appeared in the said examination at seven examination centres in the district.
