Majlis-e-Alimi Jammu and Kashmir organizes daylong seminar at Sheeri Baramulla

Sheeri: A daylong seminar was organized by Majlis-e-Alimi Jammu and Kashmir at Sheeri Narvaw in Baramulla district on Sunday.

Scholars, intellectuals and other eminent personalities from across the valley participated in the Seminar.

The seminar themed “Teachings of Prophet Mohammad SAW to fight Fitnah (Sedition)” was held in the Markazi Jamia Masjid Sheeri Baramulla.

The seminar consisted of three sessions and in the first session, scholars and intellectuals presented their dissertations in a concise but comprehensive manner on the theme and urged people to follow teachings of “Prophet Mohammad SAW to fight Fitnah (Sedition)” in cotemporary era.

The speakers include Professor Darul Uloom Rahmia Bandipora Mufti Muhammad Ishaq Nazki, Head of Department of Islamic Studies, Central University Kashmir Dr. Hameed Naseem Rafiabadi, Dr. Shakeel Shafai, renowned Islamic scholar, Maulana Talib Bashir Nadvi, Head of Jammu and Kashmir Message of Humanity, Dr. Maulana Ansar Ahmed. Qazi Sahib Shahmadan Society Rajouri, Javed Ahmad Malik (Research Fellow, Department of Islamic Studies, Islamic University, Science and Technology, Awantipora.

In the second session, the Islamic scholars threw light on the teaching of Holy book Quran and stated teachings of Prophet Mohammed (SAW) is the only panacea to end the social evils and maintain world peace.

The speakers urged youth, parents, religious clerics and every individual of society to work against social evils and seditions, “It is the collective responsibility of every individual in the society to fight against the social evils and more responsibility lies on the shoulders of religious clerics, teachers and social activists to eradicate the menaces.

Mufti Abdul Rahim Al-Hasani Sahib, the Head of Darul Uloom Al-Mustafavi Baramulla and Hazrat Mufti Muzaffar Sahib Qasmi Shaykh Al-Hadith Darul Uloom Sopore.  After this, in the third and final session, the Jammu and Kashmir Academic Council conferred the certificate of distinction on Dr Nisar Ahmed Sahib Trali.

It may be recalled that Dr. Nisar Sahib received this certificate on his comprehensive research which he has handed over to Islamic Madrassas of Jammu and Kashmir.  After this, two recently published books of written by  noted renowned Islamic scholar and orator  Ghulam Nabi Wani Sahib (Aasi) the founder of Majlis-e-Alimi, namely Aqeed-ul-Islam and Collection of Kalam Asi were released in the presence of the galaxy of Islamic  scholars and intellectuals.

The organizers extended their gratitude to the participants, administration and media representatives for their dedicated efforts to make the seminar a great success.
