Jammu: Police have recovered 3.2 kg of heroin worth over Rs 2 crore in border district of Poonch, officials said on Thursday.
On receiving a specific information about the dealing of narcotics in Basooni area, a police team launched searches in the area, they said.
During search, they recovered heroin containing three packets weighing 3.2 kg, the officials said.
A case was registered at a police station in Mendhar in this regard and an investigation is underway, they said.
