Sons of private security guard from Tangmarg crack NEET-2020

Baramulla: Two brothers from Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have qualified the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)-2020 with flying colours.

Gowhar Bashir and Shakir Bashir, hailing from Batpora village of Kunzar have scored 651 and 657 points respectively out of the total 720 points.

“This is a moment of joy and pride for us as we have qualified the entrance exams,” said Gowhar.

He said they both had cracked JEE Mains exams in 2019 and were enrolled in NIT Srinagar in B.Tech course.

Bashir Ahmad, father of Gowhar Bashir and Shakir Bashir is working as a private security guard at a fair price shop.

He said that his long-awaited dream has come true.
