Sheeri : The X-ray machine at Public Health Centre (PHC) Sheeri has been lying defunct from the past one month.
According to sources, the X-ray machine was installed twelve years ago at the PHC Sheeri and it has been developing technical snags since then but the concerned authorities have failed to replace it.
Locals said that the doctors at PHC Sheeri are shifting patients to GMC Baramulla because of the defunct X-ray machine.
When contacted Block Medical Officer Sheeri, Dr Sheikh Farooq, said that that X-ray machine is lying defunct at the health centre as it has developed some technical snag.
