SRINAGAR : Refuting the rumors being spread through some social sites regarding the selection list of Fireman/Fireman (Drivers) as baseless and devoid of facts, the Departmental Recruitment Board (DRB) for recruitment of Fireman/Fireman (Drivers) has advised the aggrieved candidates who have any grievance over the selection list to not to pay any heed to such self made reports, reads a communiqué issued by DIPR-JK.

As per the official communiqué, DRB has said that in the past three days there have been some reactions on the social media posts wherein the Facebook users and some twitter posts have given misleading figures of the selection list of Fireman/Fireman (Drivers) for Jammu division and Kashmir division as well. The Board further stated that it has released the list of selected candidates on October 3, 2020 based on the re-written test conducted on 20.09.2020 and a total of 690 candidates including 592 Firemen and 98 Firemen (Driver) were selected.
